PROFILE

Rubeena is a partner at the award-winning boutique international firm, Global Tax Services based in the United Arab Emirates and she is the founder of GTS Africa with its office in Mauritius. She covers International Tax and Transfer Pricing in Africa and the Middle East regions. With a finance background and specialist in international taxation and transfer pricing, Rubeena has taxation experience from both industry and consultancy across four continents for 20 years. She has extensive experience of understanding taxation legislations and transfer pricing regulations across a wide selection of countries and their practical application and the formulation of compliance requirements. Over the past 8 years in her consultancy role , she has worked extensively across a range of clients from different industries in Africa and the Middle East, on transfer pricing advisory and compliance projects. She has also helped in building capacity in transfer pricing at the Kenyan revenue Authority.  Previous to her time in consultancy, she worked for multinationals in Australia and the UK for 12 years where she was responsible for finance and tax. Rubeena is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds an advance diploma in International Tax and Transfer Pricing (ADIT)
